Schwartz: “I hope you have a darn good reason for not being here by now.”

Hammond: “I had not heard that it was Hankins for sure, but it appeared that a man came through here and the best evidence my investigation has gathered, he is headed in the direction of a rundown place called Tobey. But if you want me to drop my investigation, I will be there in an hour.”

Schwartz: “I should have known you were on the job. No, stay there, send a preliminary report and we will encompass him in 100 mile circle. If you find him, nab him.”

Then Schwartz walks away with a smile on his face.

Tomlinson: “Hammond, you could have told me that you were already in pursuit. You tried to make me look like and Idiot. I don’t forget those sorts of things, you know.”

Hammond: "Tomlinson, I have no need to make you look like and idiot.”

Tomlinson hits the switch to shut of the speaker and to close communication.

DANA and PAULA in the town of Marble

Although the town of Marble was only about 7 miles away from Tobey, Dana knew better than to go there. She would be a distraction for Thomas and they might even try to use her presence in some way against Him.

Paula: “Its evening and I cannot believe you let him go.”

Dana: “Trust me, if anyone can over come the wizards, Thomas will. He just always seems to overcome.”

Paula: “I think in your own way, you still love him.”

Dana: “I don’t think I ever loved him. All I want is plenty of him.”

Paula: “You see that does not make sense. You are still trembling, just thinking of him.”

Dana: “Let me tell you a secret. When I met Thomas, I had been involved in many things including Celtic lore and Bondage.” I was just freeing myself of all that. I mean I thought I was free. Then he started dominating me.
It was and is intoxicating.”

Paula: “Thomas? He doesn’t seem the type.”

Dana: “Nobody dominates like Thomas! I hate it. I think I hate him.”

Paula: “Tell me, that being the case, why you spend time reading Anne Rice?”

Dana: “Mind you own darn business, Paula Wilson.”

Paula: “Do you hate your daughter and Grandson also?”

With that Dana took the pillow where they lay talking and started beating Paula with it.
