Central Office was sending out and emergency signal that meant report to the central office immediately.

Hammond: Wondering what could be so urgent, answered the signal.  “Hello, Hammond here.”

Central Office: “I certainly hope you have a good excuse for taking so long to answer.”

Hammond: “How long has it been since the signal was first sent?”

Central office: “About a half hour ago.”

Hammond: Relieved to some degree that it had not been longer. “Yes, I was taking a soak.”

Central Office: “That is not an excuse as you well know Mr. Hammond.”

Hammond: Thinking, "yada, yada, yada...Ok, what’s the problem?”

Central office: “Thomas Hankins escaped.”

Hammond: “Stop joking, It would take an army to free him. Certainly none of the weak militias could do it. Now try another story. Susie, this better not be some prank!”

Central Office: “It is no joke and he somehow freed Jake Talbert also.”

“Schwartz is on the rampage and specifically called for you and Tomlinson. Mr. Hammond!”  Suzie said trying to get Hammond’s attention.

Hammond: “Tomlinson huh? I haven’t seen that character in a while. If there is such a thing as an antichrist,
it’s Tomlinson.”

Central Office: “Mr. Hammond, Mr. Tomlinson just arrived and heard your comments.”

Tomlinson:Hammond, still cannot be counted on to be prompt? Can’t teach and old dog new tricks, I guess.”

Hammond: “You should know Tomlinson; I notice your bark hasn’t changed.”

Tomlinson: “I just as soon see you stay there and watch TV. Let a real expert show you how it’s done.”

Hammond: “Now you listen knucklehead, I caught him and he was in that compound, where you are now.”

Tomlinson: “That’s not the new official story that will go out in a few days if we don’t catch him.  They will say the first report was in error that Hankins were in a little shanty a half mile away, overseen by you when he escaped. It’s the best thing for everyone here. I am sure you will be a team player and go along.”

 “It was my Idea.”

Hammond: “Sounds like you.  Look, I need to speak to Rodger Schwartz.”

Tomlinson: “He has made it here; I will put you on speaker.”
