bring me out of darkness

lift me up and make me believe

open my eyes

so I can look deep within myself

I watch as the world falls apart

a change has to come

I'll carry my sign

and I'll stand for a cause

the burden is ours

help me to see

show me the way

help me make a change

there has to be a better way

and there must be a better place

or tell me

will it be the same in heaven
