Bill Sullivan     Sins Of the Fathers

This subject reminds me of an older black lady a few years ago. She worked for the state finance department, which was a customer of mine. Much of my work on computerized equipment had to be done in her office. She would tell me about the positions she held and the things that she saw involving the top people from the then governor of the state to the heads of agencies. It was depressing. She would talk about not being able to wait to get away from those racists. She seemed so racist that one day as I left out I called her by name and asked the receptionist, if she believed that woman was a racist. I should have known better, the receptionist was white and I was putting her on the spot. After the receptionist rambled a few times, avoiding the question, I said, “I do”. Then the receptionist said, "me too!" All the whites seemed to love her. They knew, already, what I had to come to understand; there were things she had experienced that she just could not easily remove out of her system. She literally worked for Governors and top officials and saw and heard them say the most depressing things. She saw crooked things they did and equated the people living now with the ones she knew. That is as it were their children.  Of course she thought she could say those things around me, since I was black. She never knew how depressing she was. I remember her saying I cannot wait to retire and get out from around all these racists. A couple years later she retired. But apparently she missed them enough to visit often and they had happy times visiting with her. They did birthday parties and the like for her. They said, she misses us and we her, in spite of the fact they all knew the things that were inside of her. I had to smile. I felt the tide had finally turned, for her, to a great degree. I will say this to all who may suffer this kind of affliction. God says, "The fathers shall not bear the sins of their children and neither shall the children bear the sins of their fathers; everybody shall bear their own sins." Make sure no root of bitterness set you at odds with God.                                                    
EZEKIEL CHAPTER 18

1 ¶ The word of the LORD came unto me again, saying,
2 What mean ye, that ye use this proverb concerning the land of Israel, saying, The fathers have eaten sour grapes, and the children's teeth are set on edge?
3 As I live, says the Lord GOD, ye shall not have occasion any more to use this proverb in Israel.
4 Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sins, it shall die.
19 Yet say ye, Why? Doth not the son bear the iniquity of the father? When the son hath done that which is lawful and right, and hath kept all my statutes, and hath done them, he shall surely live.
20 The soul that sins, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father; neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.

It is time to get it right people. What was done by other people, even our parents, at another time; does not reflect upon their children today. Stop using slavery to slam people who never held a slave in their lives, just because they are white. Or the reverse, God forbid, because they are black you assume all blacks or nearly all are out to get you because you are white. All races have held slaves in the past. Blacks held generations of slaves long before Europeans and Americans. Yet, neither their descendants today nor the descendants of other races can LOGICALLY be held for what any other person has done.

Now, since the scripture above is saying every body has to die for their OWN sin, how did Jesus die for the sins of us all? Well God does things in order. I know the answer to all questions for some is that God can do anything. Yeah, but there is a problem with that answer, God will not do evil and neither will he lie. So what God did is what we today would call a legal maneuver. It tricked Satan, who had legally acquired mankind because Adam and eve was offered a choice whom to obey and they out of ignorance VIA the Trickery of Satan, chose Satan. This gave every thing to Satan. Remember that Messiah said that, "To whom you yield your selves to OBEY, his servants you are, whom you obey." So when Satan Showed Yeshua (Jesus) all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time and said, ALL THIS IS GIVEN TO ME. He was not lying. So he offered it to Yeshua (Jesus) and tried to do to him what he had done to all men. But let us go back to the beginning.

 
God had told Satan that ONE day the child of the woman would step on his head, even though Satan would end up bruising his heel. So Satan saw to it that every child born, ended up sinning and all have died as God told Adam and eve… But God set up an interesting situation. You cannot bring a clean thing out of an unclean. So once Adam and Eve begin to grow old and die, the same thing happened to their children, since they are all part of the same DNA. The only real difference between them was their minds: So they died because their flesh was the flesh of Adam. NOT as some think because they inherited the sin of Adam. Of course we could ask as Hillary, WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES IT MAKE?  Well that would violate THE VERY PRINCIPLES of God that we just read above.  God knew that as long as all men ended up sinning, there was no problem; it was still a just thing for them to die for their own sin. But if one man EVER CAME that did not sin, God would own him life. Satan was determined that, no human would come into this world and not sin and he accomplished it.

But God had a plan that he and Yeshua (Jesus) kept secret from before the world was. He was never in a catch 22 as Satan figured. If God legally allowed that in one man death could come to all; then he legally could allow that IN ONE MAN, life could come to all. Only none of them completely did right themselves. So they could not recapture their rights even after they found out Satan gained it by trickery; because all at some point obeyed Satan. Everything seemed to be working perfectly for Satan.

REVELATION CHAPTER 12
Shows a Satan in total RAGE as God sent Christ to be born of the woman and become part of the one long strain of reproducing DNA known as mankind.  He then became as ONE MAN with all mankind. And he committed no sin, fulfilling the promise to Adam and Eve. Satan got served, as the kids like to say and he is not very happy about it. Thus all life is ONLY in Jesus Christ and no other. He took on our death that we might take on his life. We are legally dead fleshy beings. And to live out lives only in our fleshy thoughts is DEATH.  But if we turn to God now and take on the MIND of Christ, we are become part of the newly created man. The first resurrected one, Christ; and so we are called the body of Christ. This new creation will be complete when we become immortals at the resurrection. For this mortal MUST put on immortality. Then death will be swallowed up in victory. Death is the enemy and the last one to be conquered. It is not as Satan has tricked the world into believing. It is not everlasting torture. It is death. He that hath Christ has life and he that does not have Christ does not have life. It is a LIE of Satan that everyone gets eternal life and that it is only a matter of where you spend it. Let us learn the complete truth

So stop holding Grudges concerning each other. And it make absolutely no sense to hold people responsible for what their parents or relatives or even friends have done; seeing that they had no responsibility in it in the sight of God. And God will judge you the way you judge them. If he can send his son to pay the price for you and you want to blame people for what they could not prevent, you will be the one guilty in the sight of God.  It was so very instructive to see the way the people at the state finance department treated this elderly lady and over came evil with good. It is a lesson for all that I am sure even God smiled about.
