Julie: “I don’t think so.” She said as she held the supervisor’s head to her shoulder.

Julie: “You know Mrs. Polly, I know a man that if he lays his hands on your mother she would be healed of the cervical cancer.”

Supervisor: “I have even taken her to church before. They prayed but nothing ever happened good from it that I could see.”

Ted had a day off so when he went back into the office, he expected all to be normal.

As soon as he stepped through the door, he was met by a group of officials.

Lead official: “Ted Talbert, come this way please.”

Uh oh, Ted thought.

They entered into press room and shut the door.

Lead official: “When was the last time you heard from you Dad?”

Ted: “Last night, he just walked down the street, knocked on the door and I opened it right in the faces of all the agents spying on my house. Guess what? He was invisible to them. They couldn’t see him nor hear him.”

Lead Official: “Ok Mr. Talbert, I hate a smart aleck! I would hope the next time I order a stakeout that it will be carefully carried out so that the person being surveilled, don’t know it.”

He said this as he looked at his agents.

“You may get back to work Mr. Talbert. Oh, Mr. Talbert, do your Dad a favor. If he contacts you turn him in so that we will not have to hurt him. I hear that you and he are not very close but he is your dad, you know.”

Ted: “I’ll keep that in mind.”

As he walks away, heading to his office.

After thinking a little, he turned back and asked. "How do I contact you if I learn where he might be?”

Lead Official: Chuckles a little. “Here’s my card. Never call unless you are certain.”

Ted took the card and the officers started to leave. Then the lead officer looked back at Ted.

Lead Officer: “Just so you will know, because your Dad is one of the leaders that people in other parts of the world are following and listening to, Interpol has been given immunity to capture him any way they can.”

Ted: “They can do that in this country?”

Lead Officer: “The world has changed, my friend. Take care of yourself and turn over your father if you get a chance. He will be much better off prosecuted in the USA.”

Ted just stood there shocked. It appears that all that he used tohear from his “crazy Dad”, as his Mom used to call him, might come true.

He wonders if Julie has fared any better than he has.
