Now Bess was altogether a beautiful woman in her own right.
Ted was surprised to see a woman that good looking as a militia member. He ended up staring a little, until
Julie elbowed him.
Ted and Julie had a long hug.
Julie: “I missed you a lot.”
Ted: “Ditto! It was your dedication to your job and I never felt like I should get in the way.”
Julie: “Next time, get in the way. I never felt like you wanted it bad enough.”
Rebo: “Ok, guys, this is all good and lovely, but we have a world to save here.”
Ted: “What’s this?"
Julie: “His name is Rebo. The lovely lady’s name is Bess.”
Ted and Bob: (chimed in at the same time) “Hello Rebo and Bess.”
Julie, Bess and Rebo took the time to explain everything that they knew over the next hour or so. Time elapsing
as each speaks.
Rebo: “The latest Report that I received shortly before we came in tonight is that they killed another top
100 of the so-called militia leaders."
Ted: “My Father was considered one of those leaders. I don’t think that was true. Was it?"
Rebo: “No he wasn’t. He never knew a single one of our members to my knowledge.”
Ted: “My Dad, should be ok, right?"
Julie: “Ted I am so sorry, but because your Dad was a powerful voice against the new world order, they framed
him. In fact, I learned that they tortured him to find one Thomas Hankins.”
Ted: “I told him that that Thomas Hankins would get him in trouble. So is my Dad dead? Are you all telling
me that my Dad is dead?”
No one said anything. Ted staggers over to the couch and become very quiet.
Julie moves over to support him but Bess and Rebo left.
END OF DAYS (Mr. Hammond goes Home)
At this time Hammond, who had taken Thomas Hankins to see Roger Swartz, had leave to go home. He was in the midst of a lot of thinking.
Hammond: (to himself) “Why do I feel like I have done the wrong thing? I get the distinct feeling that it was Mr.
Hankins who was in charge at all times. A very unusual man he is. What would it mean if what he is teaching was
true? The idea that the Whole world is in error and that it is carrying out the acts spoken of in the Book of Revelation?”
