JAKE TALBERT AND THOMAS HANKINS

At that time an officer brought in Jake Talbert. He looked haggard and mistreated but as feisty as ever. Jake immediately notices that they have Thomas Hankins in custody. Schwartz, had Jake chained to the same place to which Thomas was chained and left them alone.

Jake: “I knew you would come, but now they have us both.”

Thomas: “I am come that you might be set free.”

Jake: “I am sure you are aware that we are being monitored.”

Thomas: “Sure, but it doesn’t matter, you will be free.”

Jake: “I am not leaving you here alone.”

Thomas: “ Even if the Yahshua has chosen you for some work?”

Thomas waits for a response from Jake, but realizes that his question has caused a conflict in Jakes mind that he has to work out himself. They just look at each other.

Rodger Schwartz, noting the way Thomas speaks cannot contain himself in the monitoring room.

Rodger Schwartz: “SURE BUT IT DOESN’T MATTER YOU WILL BE FREE!”

Rodger Schwartz: “Who does this arrogant cuss suppose himself to be?”

 Jake after consideration, spoke again.

Jake: “Well, I have no intention of leaving you here alone.”

Thomas: “You will do whatever is right. This I say, remember my daughter and David and my grandson Tommy.”

Rodger Schwartz, again from the monitoring room.

Rodger Schwartz: “I would be wiling to let this Jake go so I could get my hands on this Thomas Hankins family. We could let him go and follow his every move. One thing that I have learned about Mr. Talbert, he will not break a trust. Go put them in the cell for VIP's. There is plenty of every thing there and they may forget where they are and say more that they intend. We will allow them all the rest of today and tonight and then make a deal to release
 Jake tomorrow.”

So that took them and placed them in a V.I.P. cell that was well guarded. Thomas and Jake looked at each other and smiled and Thomas spoke.

Thomas:Thou prepares a table before me in the presence of mine enemies.”

Schwartz still monitoring from his own quarters.

Rodger Schwartz: “This guy just rubs me the wrong way!”

They had ate well and chatted more, even with smiles and laughter which made Schwartz more angry.
