EXAMPLES ACTED OUT

ENSAMPLES are Acted Out Examples

Too many times professed Christians read the scriptures over and over and assume that only what the Apostles and early church leaders wrote is to be paid attention by the church. That is impossible scripturally and logically. I will point out today, just one of many points that completely proves the truth. But beyond that one; which all logical and honest people will see. It is the additional Scriptures that we will look at that are very Revelatory for us today.

I CORINTHIANS CHAPTER 10

1 ¶ Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea;
2
 And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea;
3 And did all eat the same spiritual meat;
4 And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.
5 But with many of them God was not well pleased: for they were overthrown in the wilderness.
6 ¶ Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted.
7 Neither be ye idolaters, as were some of them; as it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.
8  Neither let us commit fornication, as some of them committed, and fell in one day three and twenty thousand.
9 Neither let us tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed of serpents.
10 Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer.
11 Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.
12 Wherefore let him that thinks he stands take heed lest he fall.

The Apostle Paul here talks about Ensamples. Now Ensamples, as you can see by the way the Apostle Paul describes them; are ACTED out Examples. He goes further and say they were done (God knowing his plan) so that we MIGHT not make the same mistakes they did. That means:
(A)  God was using a living acted out example for those who would later be called by the Gospel.  As Paul says God had an intent that related to us.
(B)  Those scriptures are thus for us today; to learn and be instructed from.
(C) It means we are subject to do the same things and incur the same type actions from God; Or else they could not be Examples for us.
(D) Paul indicated that the Ensamples are for us upon whom the ENDS of the world (age) has come.

Now Consider How Paul paints the example by relating the Christian experience to it.
* Israel of the flesh came out of bondage after the sacrifice of the Lamb
* Then they pass through the sea as a type of Baptism.
* They sinned and had to wander in the wilderness for 40 years and took 2 years to take the land (A total of 42 years)

* Only after that do they enter the Promised Land.

We of course are also aware of this same theme in Revelation the 12th chapter where the people who benefited from the death of the lamb; who has likewise been baptized (The church) is delivered from Sin and bondage but flees to the wilderness. The church is attacked by LIES (water from the serpent’s mouth). That same Paul indicates elsewhere that much of the Church would turn to the same FABLES of ancient Israel again.
(2 Tim.4:3-4): The Apostle Peter agreed (2 Peter 2:1-2). Their Wilderness experience is also 42 (but in months) God having shortened those years to months as predicted.
(Matthew 24:21-22)

Still that is not the main point of the post today. Not only was Israel being saved out of Egypt a type (a shadow) of things to come but so is Babylon. It is also used in Revelation as an example of Mystery and deception that the People of God will be so involved with that God warns that if they do not part from it, they will be charged with the sins of the false worship and other errors of Mystery Babylon. It is a Mystery to many and there is a particular ensample of it for us in scripture; that is very telling.

God has sent prophets to warn both Israel and Judah of his coming judgment of them if they continued to imitate the sins of the pagan nations. Israel was taken captive in by Assyria about 120 years before Judah was sent into captivity into Babylon. They listened to the prophets speak. At least those they did not kill first. But they did not repent and would have to suffer tribulation for their sins.  So God told Ezekiel to do a strange thing in this Ensample.

EZEKIEL CHAPTER 12:
8 And in the morning came the word of the LORD unto me, saying,
9 Son of man, hath not the house of Israel, the rebellious house, said unto thee, What doest thou?
10 Say thou unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; This burden concerneth the prince in Jerusalem, and all the house of Israel that are among them.
11 Say, I am your sign: like as I have done, so shall it be done unto them: they shall remove and go into captivity.
12 And the prince that is among them shall bear upon his shoulder in the twilight, and shall go forth: they shall dig through the wall to carry out thereby: he shall cover his face, that he see not the ground with his eyes.
13 My net also will I spread upon him, and he shall be taken in my snare: and I will bring him to Babylon to the land of the Chaldeans; yet shall he not see it, though he shall die there.

The Point of this scripture for our day and for the church is that it has fulfilled the predictions of the Apostles Paul and Peter and is mixing with the gospel the fundamental doctrines of Ancient Babylon. Many have been taken into Babylon, like the King of Judah was. He was to be a sign to the house of Israel. We, in the church, are also of the house of Israel. Like him too many have covered their eyes and cannot see Mystery Babylon, even though they may die her. Because if they do not come out of her, they will bear her sins.
